Basic Bible Doctrines: The Reality of God's Effectual Call

In this series on Basic Bible Doctrines we are considering several of the elementary truths of God's Word regarding the God's revelation of himself and the work of Redemption.

With this mornings message we begin looking at the Ordo Salutis (the Order of Salvation). In short we're looking at how God effects His grace in the hearts and minds of men.

In this message we're looking at God's effectual call where by sovereignly and effectually brings lost sinners to himself. The important point here is that God is where salvation begins... monergistically if you will. It is his work, as we shall see next week that results in the regeneration of sinners.
