Entering Into His Glory

When Jesus ascended into heaven he entered a new dimension of glory. But the perquisite to glory was his suffering on the cross for his people. Without his suffering and ascension there is no good news. But his disciples personally witnessed the ascension of the God-man. Since God's people are in union we Christ, we live out our Christian lives in the reality of the Ascension made real to us by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Like Stephen, let us fix our gaze upon Jesus, standing at the Father's right hand.
