Our Iniquity on Him

We find no more somber words than these. The scripture unit or paragraph is verses 4-9. Having looked at verses 4-5, we consider verses 6-9. The strong comparison to sheep dominates verses 6-7. He compared God's elect to the ignorance of sheep then He compared Christ to the slaughter of a sheep. In verse 8 is Jesus' trial. In V9 is Jesus' grave. In verses 10-11, we will see the accomplishment of His death.
