The Davidic Covenant

This covenant is in some ways an enlargement upon the Abrahamic Covenant with particular provisions addressed to David. Obvious references to the prophetic fulfillment of Christ Jesus the Messiah are clear and provide additional encouragement as to the validity, reliability and infallibility of God's Word. This is yet another supportive covenant as to the importance of Israel in the prophetic future. Sad to say, this has been lost to spiritualizing Amillennialist, replacement theologians who merely are following the likes of Catholics like Augustine.
