The Desirability of the Kingdom of Heaven

In this survey of the beatitudes we contemplate the desirability of the kingdom of heaven. The very word 'blessed' means happy and yet how elusive happiness seems to be to many. This is not the case with those that are subjects of the kingdom of heaven. And so we consider that the kingdom of heaven is desirable: 1. Because it answers to everything our souls long for. 2. Because it equips us for everything we must face. 3. Because it brings us face to face with God.
