Time, Times, and Half a Time

The prophecy of the final end of the Old Testament includes the buildup to the end. The length of time is described as "time, times, and half a time." This three and a half year period is stated in several ways in the passage. In this time, the Romans would lay siege to Jerusalem, destroy the Temple, and do away with the ceremonies of the Old Testament high priest.
