Ruin, Retribution and Refuge

The Desire of the people to do that which is right in their own eyes results in ruin and retribution. Not only is that seen in the individual history of the Levite and his concubine but it spreads to the tribe of Benjamin. Almost the whole of Benjamin is destroyed as a result of their desire to harbour sin. But at last they find refuge at the rock Rimmon. There is always shelter in the Rock of Christ no matter how bad our sin may be.
