Forty more days

“It is finished ...”
Mission accomplished! Now that the crucifixion and
resurrection had taken place, it was time for Jesus
to return home and be at the Father’s side once
again ... or was it?
Scripture tells us that Jesus waited forty days before
going home. Why? What was so important to do
and teach those forty days, that it would delay His
going home?
