Unashamed, Part 2

Christ calls His church to maintain an unwavering devotion to His gospel. This letter, and therefore these injunctions, are written specifically to Timothy. Likewise, Paul wanted the church he was serving and consequently, us, to take this letter to heart. We know this because the very last words of the letter say, “Grace be with you [all]” (plural).

So, as we look at this call to an unwavering devotion to the gospel of Christ we must remember that this is our responsibility as followers of Jesus.

Look at the way that Paul makes this point by considering the first command, "Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord..."
