The Lamb Who Is the Good Shepherd

Not many shepherds would let a lamb take responsibility for the entire flock, but the Righteous Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world, is also the Good Shepherd. He is the One who is able to lay down His life for the sheep as well as having the authority to take His life up again.

If the resurrection did not happen, and it is one of the most highly proven events of ancient history, then we would have no reason to hope. But, it did happen. And our hope is sure, having been guaranteed by the Seal of the Holy Spirit within the lives of all who look upon the Lamb and believe in His name for salvation.
