The Last Supper: John 13:1-5

Purpose: The purpose of this portion of John's record of the gospel was to give the flow of events that led up to Christ's crucifixion and resurrection in order to show how they fulfilled prophecy and established the basis for our redemption.
Proposition: God wants us to remember what Christ did for us with a renewed sense of gratitude and humility as we take these elements in remembrance of Him
