One Life One Death One Resurrection

Welcome To our Easter Sunday Service online.

Today unfortunately due to the Corona Virus our Church is closed but we celebrate the fact that the Tomb is open. He is Risen. Jesus Christ is Alive today.

Today I want to speak about the Uniqueness of Christ. Jesus Christ is unique in His Life, His Death and His Resurrection.

The astronaut James Erwin, who traveled to the moon, said "There's something more important than man walking on the moon, it is God walking on the earth"

A relatively unknown Carpenter to the Roman World had won a great victory. He'd run a perfect race. He never faltered even once.
His victory was won without any help from his followers or the world. His victory was won over sin and death.
No one at the time expected HIM to defeat death. No one at that time expected a resurrection.
To the followers of Jesus, their teacher, their friend, the most wonderful person in human history whom they knew, had been taken from them and had been nailed to a cross 3 days before.

His friends after the Crucifixion were in despair and discouragement, they were also very afraid. The man that they had followed for three years, the man that could feed the 1000s, heal the sick, raise the dead was gone.

That first Easter Sunday despair turned to jubilation because Jesus Christ was alive.
