That My House May Be Filled

Many people alive during Jesus’ ministry thought they were entitled to a place in the Messiah’s kingdom because of their Jewish heritage and their righteousness based on keeping the Law of Moses. But Jesus makes it plain that only those who accept the master’s invitation will enter the kingdom, namely those who admit their own unworthiness to be part of the kingdom, and who believe in the grace offered by God.
