Bringing Up Children

Fathers (and by extension mothers) are told not to provoke their children; but rather to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. The primary Biblical means for discipline is communication and the rod. While society at large; and even many Christians shun Biblcal teaching; young, disobedient children need to be spanked as a form of discipline. The instruction of the Lord applies to every aspect of life for children and adults. There is nothing neutral. This is God's world and everything relates back to him.
