Easter Sunday 2026

On Easter we gather to remember the incredible truth that Jesus Christ—who lived a perfect life, healed the sick, welcomed sinners, and taught about the kingdom of God—willingly went to the cross to bear the weight of our sin and shame. We remember that His suffering and death were real, but they were not the end of the story. Three days later, the tomb was empty and Jesus rose from the dead, proving that sin and death do not have the final word. Because of His resurrection, we have a living hope: forgiveness, new life, and the promise that Jesus now reigns as our Savior and King. As we reflect on the story—from the sorrow of the cross to the joy of the empty tomb—we're reminded that believing the gospel is more than acknowledging history; it means trusting Jesus with our lives. And for all who do, we join generations of believers in proclaiming the greatest news in the world: Christ has died, Christ has risen, and Christ will come again.
