We Are Crucified With Christ!

"I have been crucified with Christ!"

What does this union with Christ in His suffering mean for us as Christians? It should be life-changing! We are commanded to follow Jesus Christ by denying ourselves and daily taking up our crosses (Luke 9). As Jesus chose to always do His Father's will, so should we choose to do our Heavenly Father's work (Luke 2; Philippians 2; John 3:16). Christ may call us to follow Him by being hated of the world (Matthew 5:10-12). Some Christians face physical pain and death as they follow Jesus Christ (Peter, Paul, Hindu, Communist, Muslim lands). Our cross brings reward (Philippians 2:11).
