Husbands, Beautify Your Brides

A wife lulled by the world is often married to a man deaf to the Word. But Christ is never passive with His Bride—nor does He turn a deaf ear to Her. He sanctifies and purifies Her, then presents Her to Himself as a radiant trophy of His free and unmerited grace, all through the power of His all-sufficient Word. That's not soft love. That's sovereign love. And it's the very kind of love to which husbands are called.
