Sleeping in the Shadow of the Cross

We can understand the disciples sleeping while Christ agonized in prayer. After all they did not yet understand the significance of Christ suffering before entering into glory. What is even more inexcusable and fearful is that Christ's followers today can be asleep to the crosswork of Christ. In this study we consider the dread of sleeping in the shadow of the cross and how the Lord's table is meant to be an antidote to it.
