Why Too Much Grace Is a Bad Thing

Hebrews 10:26-31

1. We have taken the grace of God too far and not honoring God's Word. (The Problem)
2. We MUST understand that, regardless of profession, judgment comes upon those who spurn the word of God. (The Correction)
   a. Those who oppose God will be judged and condemned.
   i. Pagan opposition comes in the form of violating the 10 Commandments.
   ii. Religious opposition also comes in those who spurn an abuse God's grace.

• Religion has no real regard for who Christ is.
• Religion has no real regard for the covenant relationship Christ purchased.
• Religion has no real regard for the true work of the Holy Spirit.
3. We MUST live daily with a reverent fear of our covenant God and His Word.
