Under The Hood

The Christian life can sometimes feel like driving a complex new car. When everything is working right, it is a smooth comfortable ride, but when trouble comes, and it always comes! We need to look under the hood. If we don’t know how the engine is supposed to work, (if we don’t understand the essence of the gospel and what it means for believers) we are going to have trouble getting back up to speed in our Christian life.

Today’s reading (the reason I’m only looking at 2 verses) deals with the engine of the Christian life. This is not a peripheral issue. No it is central. Central to the gospel. Central to the Christian life.
