Sermon: Revelation 3:14-22

A good question to ask ourselves—“Are we like the church at Laodicea--spiritually proud, self-sufficient, and complacent?”

I. The One who speaks to the church at Laodicea (and us) -
A. v. 14 – “the Amen, the faithful and true Witness“ –

B. v. 14 – “the Beginning of God's creation” –

II. What is Jesus' evaluation of the church at Laodicea?
A. v. 15, 16 – “lukewarm”

B. v. 17 – spiritually impoverished

III. The solutions despite these condemnations
A. v. 18 – to buy 3 things
1. true wealth

    2. true coverings

    3. true vision

B. v. 19 – “be zealous and repent”
