Renewal at Bethel

As the focus on Isaac as the Patriarch comes to a close, Jacob returns to Bethel to fulfill his vow to God. God blessed him with posterity and prosperity, and protected him as He said He would do. God reminds Jacob of who he is and renews Abrahamic Covenant. This is also a transition passage as we see the death of Rachel and Isaac.
