Obedience: No Matter the Cost

Would there be another way for sinners to be saved? How could sinners be made righteous in God’s eyes? Jesus would pray in great astonishment, agony, and acceptance of the cup. He would peer into the cup of God’s wrath that He would soon drink and His sweat would be mingled with blood. In this moment of intense prayer, Jesus would be reminded that there is only one way to provide eternal salvation for sinners—He would have to die in their place. Today’s message will be entitled, “Obedience: No Matter the Cost.” Jesus would fully surrender to the Father’s will.
