Converted and Called
Series A. Bonar Bicentennial Series
Opening a four-part series on the life and ministry of Dr. Andrew Bonar of Scotland, who was born on May 29, 1810, this message explores something of the religious background of Andrew's youth in the city of Edinburgh, and in particular, the struggle through which he passed before he trusted in Christ as His Savior. This message also follows young Andrew Bonar through his Seminary training, a period of time in which he became a close friend of Robert Murray M'Cheyne. Beyond his Seminary graduation, we see Bonar in his period as a licentiate minister, culminating in his ordination to the Gospel ministry in 1838.
