The Spirit of Elisha
Series The Spirit of the Prophets
Elisha heard God's word and knew God's grace. He felt the vulnerablity of being a prophet in a world opposed to God's reign yet he freely displayed the goodness of God among the nations. So did the young slave girl who recommended a leper visit him to be healed.
The many miracles done by Elisha, as with the miracles done by Jesus, reveal the eagerness of God to do us good, and to display his goodness to the nations through us.
