"Covenant Failure – Second Table" Part 1

Israel has failed to love God with all their heart, soul, and strength. Now the author of Judges shows that Israel has failed to love one another. They have violated the second table of the law as well as the first. Again, we find as we move through this
passage that this occurred not at the end of the period of the Judges but at the very beginning. Israel has always deserved God's good and righteous judgment. This horrific episode in the history of Israel shows their desperate need for a king who can save from sin. This sermon calls us to trust in Jesus Christ who
gave His life for all those who rest in His perfect sacrifice for others.
