Only Jesus Can Cleanse Us From the Inside

In this message, taken from Matthew 15:10-20, we witness Jesus correcting the wayward doctrine of the scribes and Pharisees who claimed their tradition of handwashing prior to meals was necessary to be "clean" before God.

Jesus explains that anything consumed into the body cannot make us defiled in God's eyes, and He goes on to teach us that our defilement before God comes from our own sinful heart.

Jesus also calls the Pharisees "blind guides" because they eliminated the doctrines of Christ for their own man-made traditions which can never cleans our hearts and make us righteous before God.
