Wait on the Lord

Do you ever have a problem with waiting? What are things that you want right now to happen? We live in a world that desires instant gratification. We often want the quickest fix. We want everything now. Really, we want control over everything, because we trust ourselves more than God and others. We often get in a hurry, run frantically, and have a hard time sitting still. It’s hard for us to wait, but it is important for us to Wait on the LORD. Today, I want us to visit the disciples of the Lord between His Ascension and the Arrival of the Holy Spirit to gain a perspective on waiting for the LORD. I would like for us to look at the thought to Wait on the LORD. Waiting 1) Reveals our trust in our personal Savior 2) Reminds us to rest in His Promises 3) Renews our strength by His Power.
