True Faith Consecrated

Ruth's confession here makes two things very clear: (1) the salvation of the soul does not involve works in any regard, and (2)good and godly works are the evidence and fruit of true saving faith. Anyone who is really in Christ is a new creation, Ruth is a blessed picture of true faith. She evidences this in her love for Naomi but even more so in her worship of God.
