Not Enough to Say, Lord, Lord

1. Christ is the great prophet sent from above to reveal to man the will of God. He is also the great judge, who will judge all men on the Day of Judgment.

2. False believers can be quite sound in their doctrine. They can be quite enthusiastic and emotional and fervent about their faith. They can even be engaged in many good and wonderful works.

3. Four things about true believers.

i)They are those who call upon Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
ii) They are who do the will of the heavenly father.
iii) They are those who know the Lord Jesus intimately and deeply.
iv) They are those who will dwell in His immediate presence for all eternity.

May the LORD grant us all much honesty as we confront these sober and, in a way, terrifying truths, and may we examine our own hearts and lives in light of them.
