Heb # 35 He offered His only begotten Son Heb 11: 17-19

We continued on the nature of God given faith and what it beholds.

Abraham when he was tested, by faith, he offered up His only begotten son Isaac.

The faith that God gives beholds the crucified and resurrected Christ.

The faith of God is always tested by God Himself to prove its genuineness.

And God uses trials of various colors as the gymnasium to test His people.

But the faith that God gives does not fail-even though tested-it is only proven to be the genuine article.

The faith of God looks to substitutionary atonement by Christ as the only basis of staying away execution.

The faith that God gives causes the believer to sacrifice their most beloved son, their own righteousness-a.k.a self righteousness.

The gospel nuggets are plenty and this is surely a message to sit down and listen to because it is free and the salvation that I proclaim in it-is also free!
