Genesis 34 - Sin: Failure & Degradation

As we begin to move forward we must understand the Egyptian worldview (culture) to appreciate the context of our text. Without context we cannot expect to properly exegete God's meaning from the Word; thus, we will erroneously eisegete God's word - read "our" meaning into His word arriving at our own conclusion; too common these days.
