Living for God

Last lesson we looked at the beginning of 1 Peter 4:1. We are to arm ourselves with the same mind as Christ. This is literally a word for military preparation. Knowing that death is not the end and that all die, we should not fear death, even if the process is difficult. We keep our eyes on the Lord and we encourage each other by remembering what the Lord has promised to those who are faithful. We also rejoice in leaving this corrupt body behind which is one of our greatest hindrances here on this earth, as well as trust God's providence. We are not the prisoners of men, but of the Lord. Join us as we continue on looking at how we are to live in light of this dedication.
