The Blessed and the Cursed

Luke tells us that a demon was making the man mute. This may seem foreign to us today, but think again. We should not be lulled into thinking that Satan is not active on earth now. Even if we are not literally made mute, there are times when we might as well be. Whenever we fail to speak words of spiritual truth or neglect to pray, we are functionally mute. When we come to know Christ, our mouths are restored to their right and proper use. Unbelief is cursed and illogical. Unbelievers think they are smarter than God, which itself is an insane notion! Help them see it. We cannot be neutral regarding Jesus. There is no such thing! Mere human self-reformation is empty and cursed. Moral reformation without spiritual regeneration leads to demonic domination. Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!
