A Closing Word to the Thessalonians

Today, we conclude our journey through Paul's Letters to the Thessalonian church. As we do so, we want to carefully consider how the apostle Paul closes his Second Letter to the Thessalonians. What we will see is that Paul stresses the authenticity of his greeting (which functions as a sign of the authenticity of the letter also). Furthermore, Paul closes this incredible letter with a benedictory prayer for these young believers. He prays that the Lord of peace will grant them peace in every way. We too can use this prayer as a model as we ask the Lord to graciously bless His church with the peace that only He can provide!
