Living Well

Our consideration of the 'education of saving grace' concludes with more attention given to "instructing us....to live sensibly." We then move on to "instructing us..... to live...righteously and godly in the present age." Titus 2:12 is a compendium of what the grace of God teaches its recipient. Matthew Henry wrote, "The gospel teaches us not only how to believe and hope well, but also how to live well, as becomes that faith and hope in this present world and as expectants of another and better."
