I. WE MUST ADOPT JESUS' WAY OF THINKING (Vv. 5-6)

Jesus' way of thinking was:

(a.) Jesus did not hold on to rightful prerogatives.
(b.) Jesus did not hold on to rightful position.
(c.) Jesus did not resist menial purpose.

II. WE MUST ADOPT JESUS' VIEW OF SACRIFICE. (Vv. 7-8)

Jesus' view of sacrifice is seen as:

(a.) Jesus traded a King's royalty for a slave's robe.
(b.) Jesus traded a King's honor for humble rags.
(c.) Jesus traded a King's dignity for a criminal's death.
