Romans #31 Virginity and Harlotry

The law and the prophets were until John the Baptist and Paul asked these people in the church of Rome whether they want to be bound to the law as a wife is bound to her husband. Paul uses an unusual illustration camparing the law as husband of a wife which is his property. Paul asks these Romans if they would like to be property to the law of Moses, as a wife is her husbands property, under the Mosaic Law.He asks them, Do you really want to be women without any personal rights?
