Answered Prayer

Here are some of the thoughts brought out in this sermon by Oliver.
A) God does not hear or answer all prayer.
B) Yet, Daniels pray was answered:
- Supernaturally.
- Swiftly.
- Superabundantly.
C) In the end prayer will achieve:
- An end to Sin.
- A beginning to righteousness.
- A fulfillment of prophecy.
- To Anoint the most Holy one.
Conclusion:
A) Two types of prayer:
a) God does not hear selfish prayer. Prayer that puts oursleves first, God does not hear.
b) Pray in humility. (see Mathew 6 v. 5-7). God hears.
B) The Goal of Prayer must not be - me, me, me. Not selfish prayer, no the Goal must be God! God's Glory. God's will. God centered prayer.
C) The Heart of prayer
i) Not reward.
ii) A RELATIONSHIP with God.
iii) To KNOW God.
