Nicodemus Meets Jesus

Once Jesus cleared the temple of commerce the Bible tells us he performed numerous "signs". The Greek word for Signs is "semeia" which is the root of the English word "seminal", which of course means something so dramatic or important, it changes your way of thinking and often the way things work from that point forward. John 3 is a seminal moment in the history of the world. You must be spiritually born again, or anew, is a seminal moment and the effective beginning of Jesus teaching!
