Joseph, the Favorite Son

We look at Joseph. He was the firstborn of Rachel. His mother died giving birth to his brother Benjamin and then his grandfather Isaac dies. We see Joseph being exalted to the second highest position of the land. We look at parallels with our Lord who was glorified after being beaten.
