Matthew #110 - Thinking Like A Missionary

The Great Commission was not tacked on as a surprise!
You could see it coming all along if you observed Jesus' heart
This command was not only given to those called to be “missionaries.” Rather ALL disciples ARE missionaries!
Therefore we must learn to think like missionaries!

1. Honestly see my heart: poverty of spirit
2. See His sacrifice: the cross
3. See His resurrection: Lord of ALL
4. See His Mission—and Commission
   •Realize He continues His mission—through ME!
   •Be caught up in it in all I do
   •Look for opportunities for the Gospel always
   •Practice His Presence (v20)
   •Waiting on tiptoe for the End of the Age: His Return!

And that is what Matthew is about.
