Besetting Sins Part 2

As we walk with the Lord and desire to live Holy lives that will please Him, we find that there are certain areas of our lives where we fail continually. These besetting sins are the hardest of all to deal with on a moment to moment basis. One of the first things we must do is to admit to ourselves the severity of these sins in our lives. We need to be open and tender toward God's Word as the Holy Spirit speaks to us about our true condition in these things. We should also be ready and willing to hear the reproof of the godly people that God has placed in our lives. Then we need to prayerfully confront these things and make God's will the priority as we seek to have victory where we have never had it before.
