When Tongues Are No Longer a Blessing

For the Corinthians the exercise of uninterpreted tongue speaking was the gift they most wanted to have in their worship, they felt that the more abundant this entertaining and exciting gift was, the more blessed they were.

But Paul uses a chastening example from the OT to show that a plethora of foreign tongue speaking in the church is not likely to be a sign of God's Blessing.
