God's Unchangeable Promise

God made an unconditional promise to Abraham that it was through his seed that fallen humanity would know redemption. That "Seed" was Jesus of Nazareth, and through His finished work that the condition for acceptance was met, and therefore, there is no further condition or work to perform by us for acceptance before God. The just shall live by faith, alone. What is more, this acceptance is not probationary; it cannot be forfeited, for the saint's perseverance is secured by the High Priestly intercession of their Lord. What a glorious gospel it is we preach!
