The Dietary Law for Israel

The dietary law is for Israel only. That the LORD ordained certain clean and unclean foods for them was for the purpose of separating Israel from the nations. Otherwise we really need to understand this point: there is nothing unclean of itself. For Christians to posit that we should only eat clean meats is a great error and confuses the issue of law and grace. Christians are particularly vulnerable to being led away to follow after the law by those who would exploit our ignorance about the truth concerning this issue.
