The Importance of Knowledge

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children" (Hosea 4:6).

First we consider, the lack of knowledge. There was a failure on the part of the priests to proclaim all the truth and when they did set forth truth the people rejected it. We next consider, the need of knowledge. The knowledge of God's truth is vital in the lives of His people. We then deal with the defense of knowledge, and finally the proclamation of the truth.
