Spiritual Blindness and Spiritual Sight: How Jesus Opens Our Eyes

This sermon examines Mark 8 and John 9 to show how blindness often pictures spiritual ignorance and how Jesus brings people from partial sight to clear sight. The blind man in John 9 comes to see Christ more and more clearly until he finally worships Him, while the Pharisees remain blind in their self-righteousness. This message offers both encouragement and warning: Christ is patient with those whose understanding is growing, but those who claim to see apart from Him remain in their sin. It also prepares us for Luke 24 and the opening of the disciples' eyes on the road to Emmaus.
