A LIVING MEDIATOR, PART 1:
THE NEED FOR A LIVING MEDIATOR
TEXT: Hebrews 7:22-28 & selected Scriptures

SUMMARY: From the moment of his birth, man is in need of a living Mediator because of his own sin, the sin of other people, and the sin of Satan, his great adversary.

I. WE NEED A LIVING MEDIATOR BECAUSE OF OUR OWN SIN.
A. Man is Dead Upon His Arrival in this World.
B. Man is Dead During His entire stay.
C. Man is Dead Upon His Departure from this World.

II. WE NEED A LIVING MEDIATOR BECAUSE OF THE SIN OF OTHERS.
A. They Hasten the Judgment of God on the world.
B. They Impose a Burden of Debt Upon Us.

III. WE NEED A LIVING MEDIATOR BECAUSE OF THE SIN OF SATAN.
A. The Angel Who Sinned,
B. Fallen from Heaven.
C. A Mission of Hate.
