The Heart of the Good Shepherd

Jesus Christ came for one reason and that was to give life to men. He is not stingy with that life. It is His delight to give life to us abundantly. When the life of Jesus truly comes into the soul everything begins to straighten out.

Jesus as the good Shepherd gave his life for us. He took on flesh and lived among us in humility. He ultimately gave his life as the Lamb of God receiving judgment in our place on the cross. The good Shepherd is not working to receive treasure on earth. The treasure of the good Shepherd is the sheep. We must begin to see the value of people through the eyes of the great Shepherd. Then we will truly be the expression of His heart on this earth.
